As leaders of various political parties and curious public debate over the outcome of the two-phase polls that ended in Orissa on Thursday, a renowned Bhubaneswar-based astrologer on Sunday predicted a hung Assembly and the fall of the BJD government headed by Naveen Patnaik. Pramod Patra, the astrologer, also said BJP’s PM Narendra Modi will find it hard to occupy the hot seat and there shall be re-elections in the country before May 2017.
“There will be hung legislatures both in Orissa and at the Centre. Alliance governments will formed both in the state and at the Centre as no party would be able get absolute majority,” Mr Patro predicted.
The astrologer predicted that the people’s mandate would not go in favour of BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi in the 2014 elections due to hostile planetary positions in his horoscope.
“As per my calculations, there would be re-election in the country before May 7, 2017,” Mr Patra pointed out. On the BJD president and chief minister Naveen Patnaik, the astrologer said Mr Patnaik would lose his popularity due to malefic planetary positions in his horoscope.
“Taking the planetary positions of Mr Patnaik’s horoscope into consideration, there is a bad period from April 23, 2014 to July 26, 2014 which indicates that there is every possibility that he would not be able to remain in power,” he claimed. The BJD, he said, is likely to win in 58 Assembly seats. “There is a possibility that the Congress and BJP might get 40-45 seats each,” he said.
