Her bright smile said it all. AIADMK supremo and Tamil Nadu chief minister J. Jayalalithaa appeared relaxed and happy as she drove to Poes Garden and faced reporters
waiting outside her gate.
“I am awaiting the election results as eagerly as every other citizen in this country. I have nothing more to say at this moment,” she told mediapersons with a hint of a smile.
Someone asked about the possibility of a Third Front emerging in the lead. “I cannot make any remark now,” she replied.
She has good reason for being happy. All the exit polls have predicted big scores for the AIADMK.
Besides, reports from Delhi said both the BJP as well as the Congress are wooing her the former pleading for support to Narendra Modi to become Prime Minister and the
latter offering support for her heading the Third Front as the PM. Now she will only have to wait for Friday to choose who is worthy of her friendship.
