Lalu Prasad on Sunday called LJP chief and Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan a “weathercock”, saying he switches sides at the drop of a hat, evoking a sharp response where the RJD supremo was questioned for joining hands with arch rival Nitish Kumar.
At a rally in Chapra, 75 km from here, addressed by leaders of RJD, JD(U) and Congress for an Assembly byelection earlier in the day, Mr Prasad said he has not seen a “weathercock” like Mr Paswan who changes tack to suit his own political requirements without carrying a baggage of ideology.
