The supporters of jailed former chief minister of Tamil Nadu and AIADMK chief J. Jayalalithaa and other political leaders continued to visit the Parappana Agrahara central prison hoping to meet her. However, none of them were allowed to meet her by the police and the prison staff.

More than 50 people including three ministers and MLAs went near the prison on Tuesday morning to meet her.

But they were stopped at the Hosa Road Junction by the police and told that they could not be permitted to meet Ms Jayalalithaa. However, the visitors were in no mood to leave and picked up an argument with the police.

The police told them that even Ms Jayalalithaa did not want to meet anybody.
