In yet another railway accident, 11 compartments of Dibrugarh bound Delhi Rajdhani Express derailed at Golden Ganj in Chapra in Bihar. According to initial reports 4 people are feared dead, and eight sustained injuries.
“Train derailed at around 2.15 am, prima facie cause seems to be sabotage. Maoists had announced blockade today,” said Arunendra Kumar, railway official. The accident happened around 2 am and the railway authorities have set up an enquiry to look for the reasons behind the mishap. Meanwhile relief work is currently is in progress and more relief teams are rushing the spot.Railway board president has announced Rs 2 lakh as compensation for those dead and Rs 1 lakh for the severaly injured and Rs 20,000 for minorly injured people.
